Fantasy Hockey cheat sheet: DraftKings NHL DFS top picks, values, lineup strategy for November 10

There are three games in the NHL on Wednesday and the Wild are the biggest favorites playing on DraftKings Sportsbook. Dallas is also a home favorite against Nashville, while Toronto receives road chalk in Philadelphia. Here is an overview of a number of players to consider using in your DraftKings queues Wednesday.

Top Line Stacks

Wild in Coyotes

Marcus Foligno ($ 3,300) – Joel Eriksson Ek ($ 6,500) – Kevin Fiala ($ 6,500)

The sample size is small, but Eriksson Ek, Fiala and Foligno led possession with a 62.3 Corsi For percentage and generated an impressive 24.06 high danger scoring chances every 60 minutes at 5 to 5. With Arizona allowing the most goals per game in the league, the game is also soft.

Stars vs. predators

Jason Robertson ($ 4,700) – Roope Hintz ($ 5,800) – Joe Pavelski ($ 5,500)

After clicking for 4.0 goals and 13.37 high-danger scoring chances every 60 minutes at 5v5 last season, Hintz and Robertson haven’t scored once this season despite generating an incredible 19.28 chance of high danger. There’s a positive regression ahead for the duo, and Pavelski is a proven scorer to fill the profitable stack. All three also skate on power play unit # 1.

Superstar to build

Kirill Kaprizov, MIN at ARI ($ 7,400) – As noted, Minnesota lands in a soft clash on Wednesday and Kaprizov still has an unbearable 4.9 percent shooting percentage. He managed to bolster his fantastic numbers by registering seven assists and 41 shots, with goals set to follow. If you are looking for a standalone option of the Wild, this is your target.

Value in case of infringement

Michael Bunting, TOR at PHI ($ 4,400) – Despite skating on a dangerous line with Auston Matthews ($ 9,200) and William Nylander ($ 7,300), Bunting has registered just one goal and two assists in the last nine games. Toronto’s No.1 line generated 18.98 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes 5-5 while leading possession with a 62.8 Corsi For percentage. Bunting is in stealing territory at this salary.

James van Riemsdyk, PHI v TOR ($ 3,000) – With a 3.6% shooting percentage and a role in the # 1 power play unit, expect Riemsdyk to find the back of the net more frequently as he walks forward. The Maple Leafs have also allowed four or more goals in five of their last nine games, so van Riemsdyk should have a chance on Wednesday.

Goalkeeper

Cam Talbot, MIN at ARI ($ 8,100) – Expect Talbot to be popular on Wednesday. The Wild allowed the second lowest number of goals expected every 60 minutes 5-on-5 in the league, and Arizona scored the fourth under. Suffice it to note that Talbot hasn’t been sharp lately with 11 goals allowed on just 97 shots in the last three games.

Carter Hart, PHI vs. TOR ($ 7,600) – There could be a sneaky advantage for Hart against Toronto. The Maple Leafs have attempted the second-highest number of shots per 60 minutes 5-on-5 in the league, so it’s possible Hart could post a record save total. In addition, Philadelphia is allowing the fifth fewest goals per game in the league. Toronto could also do without captain John Tavares as he is treating an undisclosed injury.

Value on defense

Shayne Gostisbehere, ARI v MIN ($ 4,400) – With five points – one goal – in his last four games, Gostisbehere comes into excellent shape. He’s the # 1 power play unit quarterback and also provides solid secondary stats with 24 shots and 12 blocks in 12 games. Remember, as noted, this is a tough matchup against the Wild.

Dante Fabbro, NSH at DAL ($ 2,600) – There probably aren’t many perks with Fabbro, but he would have to team up with No.1 defenseman Roman Josi ($ 7,900), and his paycheck offers a huge savings. Fabbro’s shot and block volume is also down a bit this year, and playing the best pairing minutes should provide an increase in every stat.

Power-play defender

Morgan Rielly, TOR at PHI ($ 6,100) – Monday’s loss ended a five-game winning streak for the Maple Leafs, and Rielly had five assists and 11 shots in that streak. He’s locked in as the No. 1 power-play unit quarterback, and the Flyers have given up the league’s second most anticipated goal by 60 minutes.

Jared Spurgeon, MIN at ARI ($ 4,800) – In the smooth game against the Coyotes, Spurgeon comes across as a solid mid-salary target. He’s found the scoresheet in two of the last three games while also recording 10 shots, so the power-play quarterback is also fit to be included in a Wild stack.
