Pokémon GO players have spent much of October in the game’s Halloween celebration, but they can look forward to new events before November. Niantic Delivers Another Exciting Community Day For Fans, New Pokémon Spotlight Hours And A Special Nintendo Release Celebration Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shining Pearl Pokémon. A new month means a new community day, and Pokémon GO players will be thrilled with this month’s pick. The game offers fans a Shinx Community Day in November, which means the Electric-type Pokémon will appear at a higher rate. Players will be able to evolve Shinx into Luxray, obtaining his final form with a special move. They’ll also have a chance to catch a Shiny Shinx – possibly more than one.

Pokémon GOThe November Community Day event will take place on November 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time.

‘Pokémon GO’ sets spotlight hours for November

In addition to the game’s monthly Community Day, Niantic recently added Pokémon Spotlight Hours. Those Pokémon GO events increase spawns of a specific Pokémon for one hour every Tuesday. They take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and players can enjoy five iterations of Pokémon Spotlight Hours in November. Here’s what’s on the program:

  • Cacnea: November 2, 2021
  • Chinchou: November 9, 2021
  • Turtwig: November 16, 2021
  • Chimchar: November 23, 2021
  • Puplup: November 30, 2021

During these hour-long slots, players can also enjoy Double Catch Candy. Additionally, while shine rates don’t increase, these hours give fans the chance to try Shiny Pokémon, assuming they’re already in the game.

New holiday events are on the horizon

November can close the door at Pokémon GO Halloween events, but there are more holiday celebrations to look forward to. The game kicks off the month with Día de Muertos or Day of the Dead. The Mexican holiday is from November 1 to 2 – although the celebrations sometimes start earlier – and it honors both life and death.

Pokémon Go joins the festivities with a number of bonuses available from November 1 at 10 a.m. to November 2 at 8 p.m. According to the game’s website, these bonuses include:

  • Lure Mods will last 90 minutes
  • Incense will last 90 minutes
  • 2 × catch stardust

Players located in Latin America and the Caribbean will receive additional bonuses, such as:

  • +1 Bonus transfer bonus
  • Featured Event Pokémon Will Appear In The Wild Even More Often
  • Featured Event Pokémon Will Be More Frequently Attracted to Incense and Lure Mods

There will also be a Free Event Box and a new Collectible Challenge in honor of the event, as well as increased spawn rates for the following Pokémon: Cubone, Sunkern, Murkrow, Houndour, Sableye, Roselia, Sunflora, Drifloon and Yamask.

After Día de Muertos, Pokémon GO will present its Festival of Lights event from November 5 to 14. Niantic has not released specific details on this celebration, so stay tuned for updates as the date draws near.

Pokémon Go to celebrate Nintendo’s November releases

Pokemon fans have a lot to look forward to in November, and not just because of Pokemon GO. This month also marks the arrival of Nintendo’s last two Pokémon games: Pokémon: Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon: Shiny pearl. These Switch remakes of the original Diamond and Pearl games for Nintendo DS promise to breathe new life into the originals.

Sure, Pokemon GO will celebrate the launch of both Switch games with its own in-game events. Players can look forward to game-related bonuses and features from November 16-21. Sadly, Niantic has yet to release details, but it’s probably safe to assume that the app will feature significant Pokémon from the remakes.

Which Pokémon are raiding in November?

Finally, the new month will welcome a new lineup of Raid Pokémon. Niantic revealed what players can expect from five-star and mega raids:

Five Star Raids

  • Darkrai: November 1-5
  • Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion: November 5-16
  • Cresselia: from November 16 to December 1

Mega raids

  • Mega Absol: November 1-5
  • Mega Manectric: November 5-16
  • Mega Lopunny: November 16 – December 1
