3,200 places to be filled in non-CUET training

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has called for applications for about 3,200 places in about 80 courses that fall outside the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) offered by different departments and educational centers. The application window will remain open until June 10.

Admission will be given solely on merit, which will be prepared by the relevant department based on its own set of criteria. It can be based on the qualifying exam, or the interview, or any other mode/s or combination of modes.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the country’s academic calendar has been affected. Therefore, for students seeking admission with an annual assessment system, merit eligibility will be considered based on aggregate grades/grades up to their previous years, while, for students in the system semester, all grades/grades up to up to the fifth semester for a three-year program and up to the ninth semester for a five-year program will be considered.

However, if they have participated in their final semester/year exam and results have been declared by June 10, their final semester/year result will be considered for merit purposes. These candidates must submit the mark sheet to the relevant department no later than August 14.

Candidates awaiting their qualifying exam results will be required to submit the final qualifying exam score sheet by September 25 or the date notified by the state government.
