CAT 2019 response key released: According to the latest media reports, the official CAT 2019 response key will be released by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode examining authority no later than 30e November 2019e and November 30e November 2019. Earlier it was reported that IIM Khozikode is expected to release the official CAT response key today or tomorrow. However, with the clarification from CAT Convenor, the rumors were hushed up.
No word on the candidate’s answer sheet
Last year, before the official CAT answer key was released, the examining authority also published the candidate answer sheet for each candidate to bring more transparency to the assessment process. However, so far, IIM Khozikode has not provided any clarification regarding the candidate answer sheets. However, following the general trend, the institute will also make available to candidates the candidate answer sheets as well as the official answer sheet for the MBA entrance exam.
Separate answer keys for Slo1 and Slot 2
As the exam took place in two different time slots, namely the morning session from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the afternoon session from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. IIM Kozhikode will also publish the separate answer keys for the two exam windows. Candidates should note that the answers will only be available to candidates who have taken the exam.
How to use the official CAT 2019 answer key?
The CAT 2019 answer key is a very important tool along with the candidate answer sheet for aspirants who have taken the entrance exam. Using the official CAT answer key and candidate answer sheet, aspirants can verify the answers they provided on the exam and thus predict or estimate the CAT 2020 score and percentile. On this basis , they will be able to assess their chances of receiving a call from top B schools such as IIM, FMS, MDI, SPIJMR and others.
