Scribd adds first chief marketing officer to its leadership team

Ariana Hellebuyck brand awareness and increased subscriber growth experience will increase Scribd’s presence

Hellebuyck’s focus on transforming brands into household names while increasing sales to consumers will be instrumental in achieving the company’s vision to inspire the world through stories and knowledge.

With over 15 years of experience leading marketing teams, Hellebuyck has worked in consumer-facing private and public companies, leading teams responsible for branding, paid acquisition, content, cycle lifestyle, communications, social marketing and product. She also drove follower growth and brand awareness while launching world-class campaigns.

She also grew the company’s subscription service past one million paying members.

Prior to Life360, Hellebuyck led brand strategy and advertising efforts for NerdWallet, the go-to resource for all of life’s financial decisions. She also served as Vice President of Brand Marketing at Phoenix Universitysubsidiary of Apollo Education Group, where she launched the program “I am a Phoenix” campaign, transforming the Phoenix University in a familiar name.
