NEET UG Exam 2022: The National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET)-UG is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This year’s exam is scheduled to take place during the first week of May 2022. The application process is expected to take place in two phases. For more details, applicants can access the official NTA website– ntaneet.nic.in.

Students who have passed Class 12 are eligible to apply. The minimum age of candidates who can apply is 17 years old at the time of admission. Citizens of India, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply.

NEET UG 2022: how to apply

Step 1: Register for the NEET-UG Exam 2022 on the official website- ntaneet.nic.in

Step 2: To apply, click on the login tab and enter the credentials.

Step 3: The application form with 12 sections will appear.

Step 4: Enter all information and details correctly.

Step 5: Upload scanned images

Step 6: Make payment

Step 7: Download the confirmation page and print it.

Apart from this, to ensure a successful registration, applicants must enter details correctly, pay the application fee and upload the required documents. Uploading the document is most crucial, as it should be done in the prescribed format.

Here are the required documents for the NEET-UG 2022 application form

1. Scanned photograph (passport size and postcard size)): In the application form, applicants must upload both a passport-size photo (10-200KB) and a postcard-size photo (4 x 6 inches; 50-300KB). Both should be uploaded as a JPG file.

The passport size photo must be taken on or after the date specified by the NTA in the NEET 2022 Information Bulletin. Approximately 80% of the space in the photo must be your face, with ears visible. It must be a color photograph on a white background.

It is important to note that polaroid and computer generated photos are not acceptable for the NEET 2022 application. Therefore, applicants should only click their photos in a professional manner. In addition, the same photographs are used in the NEET admission card and must also be pasted on the attendance sheet. Thus, candidates must keep 6 to 8 copies.

2. Scanned copy of the signature: Just like the photographs, applicants must upload a scanned copy of the signature which must be made on white paper. It must be in current writing. It must be in JPG format between 4 KB and 30 KB.

3. Left Thumbprint: Applicants will be required to upload a thumbprint. They will dip their left thumb in ink and cast it on white paper. Scan it and crop it. This scanned image must be uploaded as a JPG file, the file size must be between 10 KB and 50 KB.

4. Class 10 Certificate of Achievement: This is the certificate that candidates get from their school board after passing the class 10 exams. Scan the document and save it as a file between 100 kb and 400 kb in size to upload to the online application form.

Apart from these, while filling the application form for NEET 2022 applicants, they will also need grade sheets of class 10 and 12, proof of identity, payment details etc., when applying.
