5 players I like more than ECR

Raheem Mostert: Mostert faces an absolutely terrible Detroit Lions run defense, and he’s going to go wild in this one. It lands at RB13 in my ranking against RB17 in ECR.

Darrell Henderson: People are not sure what to expect from Henderson in this offense. While the Bears’ run defense is an intimidating clash, Henderson should see plenty of scoring opportunities here. It lands at RB22 in my ranking against RB25 in ECR.

Cooper Kupp: The Bears’ high school doesn’t stand a chance to slow down Kupp and Woods this week. While Woods is a bit higher in ECR this week, Kupp is still down at WR20. Woods and Kupp are both in the top 12 options in my ranking.

Corey Davis: Davis had a ridiculous target share during the preseason, and Zach Wilson will find his way early and often. Jaycee Horn should draw attention to him here in his first game in the NFL, and that’s a huge advantage for Davis. His RCT is 33 and he is WR23 in my ranking.

Tyler Higbee: The Bears actually gave the TE position the 5th most fantastic points last season, and Stafford should easily rack up over 300 passing yards in this game. This means that Higbee is off to a good start and is at TE6 in my ranking against TE11 in ECR.

5 players I like less than ECR

Jonathan Taylor: Did you know the Seahawks allowed the 5th fewest rushing yards per game last season? The high school was torched in the first half of the year, but Seattle’s run defense was actually pretty good. Taylor is still a top 10 option for me, but just a few spots below his RCT of RB6.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire: What will be the workload for CEH in this game? I have a few questions before year two, so I’m a little more skeptical of its fantastic release than ECR this week. It lands at RB18 in my ranking against RB15 in ECR.

Diontae Johnson: I think we’re going to see passing attempts crumble for Pittsburgh this year as they rely on Najee Harris. It’s a tough game for opposing WRs, and Johnson is downed for these reasons. It is WR24 in ECR and WR30 in my ranking.

JuJu Smith-Schuster: I’ve been lower on Juju for the entire offseason so that shouldn’t come as a surprise to people listening to our podcast etc. In a low-volume passing offense against a tough secondary, Juju likely won’t see enough volume – or effective enough – to return value on his WR35 ECR. He’s at WR51 for me.

Noah Fant: In a game I don’t expect Denver to need to put that much into, Fant will have to be super efficient with his limited possibility of making the top 12. We know he doesn’t score touchdowns on a regular basis, so it’s hard to see how he values his TE8 Expert Consensus ranking. It lands at TE12 for me.

5 receiver / corner matches to watch

Allen Robinson / Jalen Ramsey: Ramsey is known to follow the top receivers for an offense, and Robinson might have a hard time doing so this week. It will be a fun game to watch during SNF.

Julio Jones / Byron Murphy: The Titans could score 50 points with this receiving duo against this secondary of the Cardinals.

AJ Brown / Robert Alford: The Titans could score 50 points with this receiving duo against this secondary of the Cardinals.

DJ Moore / Brandin Echols: I’m the NFL for a living, and I can’t tell you much about Brandin Echols… Moore is a fantastic play this week.

Corey Davis / Jaycee Horn: Horn is a highly touted rookie corner, but he’s going to have his hands full against Davis this week.

5 bold predictions for week 16
