Joe Pisapia’s overall fantasy football strategy for 2022
I invest early and often in wide receivers. Yes, elite RBs are great, but the last few years have beaten us over the head with the fact that the early RB approach has much greater volatility. I prefer to take hits from RBs on good attacks, opportunities and advantages, but use my first draft capital on proven elite WRs.
At TE, I want value. If Kyle Pitts or Darren Waller slips up, I’m listening. If Dalton Schultz is where he should be, he’s mine. I totally agree with Josh Allen when it comes to individual QB leagues. Otherwise, I’m expecting Matthew Stafford’s value or the Derek Carr/Trey Lance combo meal of floor and rise.
