The National Testing Agency (NTA) will most likely run the JEE Main 2022 exam in four sessions – February, March, April, and May. Candidates who are waiting for the registration date will be informed shortly on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Before completing the application form, students are advised to check the JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria. All qualified students will be eligible to participate in the counseling process for admission to engineering schools, which accept JEE Main scores. JEE Main 2022 paper 1 scores are accepted by 31 NIT, 25 IIIT, and 28 GFTI, and the second document guides applicants for BArch / BPlan admissions.

JEE Main 2022: Eligibility criteria

Although authorities will publish the JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria in the official brochure, here are a few details to keep in mind.

Applicants must have passed Class 12 or other equivalent exam in 2020, 2021, or they are expected to appear in 2022.

Students wishing to be admitted to BTech / BE courses must have a subject of physics, mathematics and chemistry, biology, biotechnology or vocational technique in class 12. For BArch courses, the compulsory subjects are mathematics, physics , chemistry and BPlan, it’s math.

JEE Main 2022: Required documents

– Scanned copy of the applicant’s photograph

– Scanned copy of the signature of the applicant

– Category certificates, if applicable

– Proof of identity with photo such as Aadhaar card, voter card, etc.

– Grade 10 grade sheet

– Grade 12 grade sheet

JEE Main 2022: How to apply

Step 1: Register using basic information like email id, contact number and name. Candidates are also expected to create a password and answer security questions. After registration, a unique JEE Main 2022 request number will be generated, except for subsequent logins.

Step 2: In the next step, applicants need to log into the account using the same application number and password, submit all required information.

Step 3: All relevant documents should be uploaded in the specified format. The specifications will be detailed in the official notification.

Step 4: Make payment from NTA JEE Main 2022 application form. Applicants can make payment by debit card / credit card / net banking or any other option.

Step 5: After successful payment, applicants should print the submitted application form for further use.

JEE Main 2022: Exam Template

Applicants should note that each subject will have two sections. Section A will be composed of multiple choice questions (MCQ), while section B will contain questions whose answers must be entered in the form of a numerical value. Section A is mandatory and for each correct answer, four points will be awarded, however, for each incorrect answer, one point will be deducted. In section B, applicants must answer five of the 10 questions offered. There will be no negative scoring for section B.
